Choose a class route by its goal: area damage, a ranged spell package, pets, or a more defensive direction. The table gives published options for all nine classes; each class page explains core choices, progression requirements, and when to change direction. There is no verified universal best build.
Evidence checked 2026-10-28: default HP and starter records come from the official menu research; route suggestions come from attributed public guides and recordings. The photographed menus document starting conditions, not completed builds or current-patch performance.
Choose a route for the problem you want to solve
These published route names and spell pairings come from the WoW Survivors build guide, the game.com class guides, and the dated public recordings linked on each class page. Their source independence is not established merely because two guide sites agree. The “compare when” column is editorial planning advice, not an official ranking or a measured clear-speed result.
| Class | Published direction | Compare when | Guide |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warrior | Fury: Whirlwind / Bladestorm; compare Arms or Protection | Area-damage goal; change direction if bosses or survival are the bottleneck | Warrior plan |
| Paladin | Protection: Consecration / Holy Shield / Divine Shield | Defensive objective; compare Holy Shock / Exorcism when survival is stable | Paladin plan |
| Hunter | Marksmanship: Aimed Shot direction; Beast Mastery pet alternative | Choose a shot or pet objective; a developed Kill Shot setup changes the starter | Hunter plan |
| Shaman | Elemental: Chain Lightning with Magma or Searing Totem | Lightning/totem objective; compare recovery if early survival is the problem | Shaman plan |
| Mage | Fire: Flamestrike / Pyroblast; Frost: Blizzard alternative | Choose one spell package using current offers rather than assuming a damage winner | Mage plan |
| Warlock | Affliction: Corruption / Curse of Agony; Demonology alternative | Compare damage-over-time with summon prerequisites already available | Warlock plan |
| Druid | Balance: Hurricane / Starfire; Feral form or Restoration alternative | Choose spells, a form, or recovery; do not combine mutually exclusive form capstones | Druid plan |
| Priest | Shadow: Shadow Word: Pain / Shadowform; Discipline: Penance alternative | Compare damage with shield/recovery choices when survival limits the run | Priest plan |
| Rogue | Sinister Strike / Seal Fate; Blade Flurry; Subtlety alternative | Group-clearing objective; compare Cheat Death prerequisites for survival | Rogue plan |
Fresh card versus a developed build
The official menu observations below are from Aethus’s game, read on 28 October 2026: a single official source. Talents can change starting spells. For example, public Hunter talent records describe Kill Shot starting runs with Aimed Shot, while the fresh card starts with Auto Shot. Do not label every different talented opening an outdated client.
| Class | Recorded HP | Default starter |
|---|---|---|
| Warrior | 230 | Cleave |
| Paladin | 245 | Consecration |
| Hunter | 240 | Auto Shot |
| Rogue | 190 | Sinister Strike |
| Priest | 170 | Smite |
| Shaman | 195 | Lightning Bolt |
| Mage | 215 | Fireball |
| Warlock | 165 | Shadow Bolt |
| Druid | 205 | Wrath |
How to adapt the plan to your progress
Fresh character: use the available opening and take useful upgrades while the desired cards are missing. Random drafts do not guarantee the full named package. Add recovery or defense if damage taken is ending runs; compare offensive support once survival is stable.
Developed character: follow the current prerequisites for one route objective. Each class earns talent experience and can earn at most 51 points; a new character does not begin with 51. The talent reference explains point rules. The official Druid image shows three talent trees and three separate saved build slots, not three independent pools of points.
Compare equipment by the properties shown on the current item, and compare race effects on the dated racial reference. No precise damage coefficients or best-in-slot list are inferred from a video title. Collection 0/54 on the earlier Warrior/Druid screens and 0/60 on the later Shaman screen differ in class and build, so neither is a universal cap.
Versions, examples, and community planners
The official menu was read as 0.122.0 and later 0.123.0 on the same day; see the dated version record. Older videos identify published archetypes, not guaranteed current-patch behavior. Each class page gives the uploader, upload date and ordinary viewing link, with game version marked unknown when it was not established.
ASBuilder is a community planner recorded in the research as supporting share/import codes. A code belongs to that planner’s format; this guide does not promise that it can be imported into the original game or that every saved planner value matches the current official client.
Sources and verification limits
Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number. Missing values remain unreported; disagreements stay attributed.
