“Best class” and “tier list” are the same decision. The author does not publish a ranking. This page lines up the public lists instead of inventing a fourth one, and it pins each list to the version that site was quoting.
I did not finish nine Naxxramas runs to score classes. On 28 October 2026 I read the official menu HP and starter spells, then set them next to lists that were already public. Where those lists disagree, both letters stay on the page.

What the menu can tell you before any list
Official menu, 2026-10-28: Paladin 245 HP and Consecration, Hunter 240 and Auto Shot, Warrior 230 and Cleave, Mage 215 and Fireball, Druid 205 and Wrath, Shaman 195 and Lightning Bolt, Rogue 190 and Sinister Strike, Priest 170 and Smite, Warlock 165 and Shadow Bolt. HP is not a tier. It is the only number the author printed on the select screen.
Older write-ups that start Paladin on Hammer of Wrath, Hunter on Arcane Shot, or Mage on Frostbolt are describing the community rebuild or an older menu, not the select screen I opened.
Three lists, three S tiers
None of these sites is the author. They also name older builds (0.120.4 or 0.120.5) than the 0.123.0 menu read on 28 October. A letter from 0.120.5 is not a letter for 0.123.0 until someone rechecks it.

How to use this without a fake “meta”
If you want the class with the most health on the official card, that is Paladin at 245. If you want the list that put Hunter in S twice, open those two sites and read their method. If you want Warlock, know that the wiki put it in S from spell math and also said the list was not play-tested, while the menu gives Warlock the lowest HP at 165.
Class pages on this guide repeat the menu card and link a public video. They do not repeat a letter grade as fact.

Sources and verification limits
Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number.
