“Official website”, Discord, Reddit, and GitHub are all searched as if they were the same door. They are not. This list says who operates each one, and the date we last checked it.
I opened the author homepage and the Discord invite API on 28 October 2026. The invite azerothsurvivors and the invite UzxaZuSAk resolved to the same guild name, Azeroth Survivors, with 69,848 members and 27,779 online at that moment.
Use these
Play and download: https://wow.aethus.pl/. The homepage HTML, the Windows link, and the Discord button were all on that origin on 2026-10-28.
Discord: discord.gg/azerothsurvivors. The author page prints that invite. The API check is a second source for the guild existing. ASBuilder’s footer also links the UzxaZuSAk code, which resolved to the same guild.
Do not file these under the author
GitHub OutThisLife/azeroth-survivors-re (427 stars and 190 forks when the README was read on 2026-10-28, tag v2026.10.26) is a community from-source build. Reddit r/wowservers describes the reverse-engineering history. It is useful, and it is not the download button on wow.aethus.pl.
GameJolt game id 1108564 is a page by azsurvivors. It is not the author host.
Reddit threads on r/wowservers are player posts. The early thread titled as a single-player roguelike is a community post, not an Aethus press release. I am not assigning it an official status.
Questions
Is there an official GitHub?
No author GitHub was linked from wow.aethus.pl on 2026-10-28. The public rebuild is a separate project.
Which Discord is the game’s?
discord.gg/azerothsurvivors, the invite printed on the author site. A second code, UzxaZuSAk, joined the same guild in the API lookup.
Sources and verification limits
Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number. Missing values remain unreported; disagreements stay attributed.
- Aethus — original game page
Official browser entry and Windows link. Version and menu numbers are a single-publisher snapshot dated 28 October 2026, not independently confirmed current values.
- 17173 — independent game report, 26 October 2026
Free game, nine classes, eight races, Windows download and permanent progression. Rounded download size is not a file identity check.
- OutThisLife — community rebuild README
Separate from-source build with its own maps and controls; not an official release or proof of current official balancing.
- Discord invite metadata
Guild existence and a changing membership snapshot; same guild API is not an independent endorsement.
- Asmongold TV — Asmongold plays Azeroth Survivors
Independent public footage for the gameplay shown, not verification of every numerical claim on this page.
