Search traffic for “download” wants a file. The author already links one. This page names that file, its size, and its date, and it says which popular links are not the author. We do not mirror the rar.
I sent a HEAD request to the official Windows URL on 28 October 2026. The response was application/x-rar-compressed, content-length 754,921,096, Last-Modified Mon, 19 Oct 2026 18:26:55 GMT. There was no checksum header.
The file the author links
Browser play needs no download: wow.aethus.pl. The Windows archive linked from that page is AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar. Its signing status is unverified; HTTP headers do not establish executable signatures. 17173 described a Windows build around 719 MB on 26 October, which matches this byte count (719.9 MiB) as a rounded size comparison; that does not prove the report describes the identical file.
Because the archive is dated 19 October, it is older than the browser co-op UI players streamed on 23–25 October. Treat the rar as a single-player snapshot unless the author replaces it.
Links that are not the author
The GitHub repository OutThisLife/azeroth-survivors-re says it is a from-source local build. A Reddit thread on r/wowservers describes it as a reverse-engineered derivative that lacks the official armory, permanent gear, and class talent progress. Use it only if you want to read that rebuild. Do not call it the official download.
The GameJolt page by azsurvivors describes a third-party page and links onward to azerothsurvivors.org. It is not Aethus publishing a build. GameJolt also sends X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN, so it is not an embed source either.
If a page offers an APK, a “full unlock”, or a trainer, it is outside the author’s two routes. We do not link those files.
Questions
Do you host the Windows file?
No. The only download link we print is the rar on wow.aethus.pl.
Is there a checksum?
Not in the HEAD response we recorded on 2026-10-28. The author page did not print one either.
Sources and verification limits
Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number. Missing values remain unreported; disagreements stay attributed.
- Aethus — original game page
Official browser entry and Windows link. Version and menu numbers are a single-publisher snapshot dated 28 October 2026, not independently confirmed current values.
- 17173 — independent game report, 26 October 2026
Free game, nine classes, eight races, Windows download and permanent progression. Rounded download size is not a file identity check.
- Official Windows archive (download)
HEAD checked 28 October 2026: 754,921,096 bytes; Last-Modified 19 October 2026 18:26:55 GMT. Exact bytes and date are one official HTTP source; signing and full-file checksum are unverified.
- OutThisLife — community rebuild README
Separate from-source build with its own maps and controls; not an official release or proof of current official balancing.
- Des — How to download Azeroth Survivors on PC
Independent public footage for the gameplay shown, not verification of every numerical claim on this page.
