Spells and abilities

Last checked: 2026-10-28 · Sources and verification limits

Compare the nine default starters with representative damage, control and defensive spells for each class. The official bundle research counted 113 ability keys, including racial keys; that is not a count of 113 selectable class spells. Damage, cooldown and target values remain blank where current official values are unconfirmed.

Checked 28 October 2026: the editorial official-menu record shows Consecration, Auto Shot and Fireball as default starters for Paladin, Hunter and Mage. Learned talents can replace starting spells. A different opening in a video can therefore be a talent choice, not proof that the video uses a rebuild or an obsolete client.

Default starters before talents change the opening

These HP and spell names are the official-menu snapshot recorded on 28 October 2026, a single official publisher. They describe the default opening without an equipped talent that changes it. They are not a mandatory build or the full spell pool.

For example, the Hunter reference describes Kill Shot starting with Aimed Shot, while the independent historical build guide also records talent-driven starter replacements. Its older menu observations support the distinction, not a guarantee that every talent value is unchanged in 0.123.0.

Representative spells by class

This is a selected name-and-purpose index, not an exhaustive ability dump. Each linked class reference below reports talent data last checked on 0.120.5; checked here on 28 October 2026. The independent nine-class build guide provides older route examples for comparison. Exact effects of each entry are not independently confirmed for 0.123.0; treat the descriptions as attributed community guidance.

Blank numeric cells mean unknown current values, not zero damage or an instant cooldown. Some spells can be supplied or changed by talents rather than drafted as ordinary cards. Use the talent reference before expecting a developed-character opening on a new save.

What the 113-key count includes

The official bundle research on 28 October recorded 113 ability keys: 105 class keys and 8 racial keys. Both reads, 0.122.0 and 0.123.0, belong to the same official publisher and are not two independent sources. Key presence alone does not prove that an ability is selectable, belongs in a class draft pool, or has a specific damage value.

The 73-ability community guide uses source-rebuild data. Its coefficients and rank limits are not merged with this official-menu table. The rebuild repository is a separate program. Follow class routes for choices and version notes for changes.

The Frost Mage video linked below was published on 24 October 2026; its exact recorded build is unverified. It is a historical route example, not a current official spell-value source. The level-up screenshot is separately labeled as a community rebuild image.

Questions

Does the official client have 113 selectable class spells?

No such conclusion follows from the count. The 2026-10-28 research found 113 ability keys, including 105 class keys and 8 racial keys. It did not establish 113 selectable class spells.

Why does my Hunter start with Aimed Shot instead of Auto Shot?

Auto Shot is the recorded default. Community talent references describe Kill Shot replacing it with Aimed Shot, so a different starter can be a talent effect.

Sources and verification limits

Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number. Missing values remain unreported; disagreements stay attributed.
