Multiplayer is a yes, with a narrow shape. The official client strings include Co-op, Play with friends, Party n/5, Host the lobby, and Lobby code. Public videos from 23–25 October show people actually in those lobbies. The Windows archive is older than those videos.
Research checked 28 October 2026: official party labels are supported by independent co-op videos from GottaBlast and Goerson, uploaded 24 October. A video upload date does not establish the exact release date of a feature.
Host or join a browser lobby
Use the original browser client. The following flow follows its public UI labels and the dated co-op guide; it does not require an account.
Host: choose Co-op / Play with friends, choose Host the lobby, select an available zone, and share the displayed lobby code. Join: choose the join option and enter the code supplied by the host. Stay on the same game version as the host.
Independent footage: Goerson’s five-player video, 24 October 2026 and Just Breathe’s co-op video, 25 October 2026. Their upload dates are not exact patch-release dates.
| Situation | Next step | Evidence limit |
|---|---|---|
| Different game version | Refresh both browser clients and ask the host to recreate the lobby. | Version mismatch is a literal official UI message. |
| Party full | Use another lobby or wait for a slot. | Official label caps the party at five. |
| Zone not unlocked | Choose a zone your current hero can access. | Unlock filters are described in the dated community guide. |
| No lobby controls in a downloaded build | Use the original browser client for current co-op. | The archive limitation is dated, not permanent. |
What the UI actually offers
Host, or join with a code. Public lobbies can be filtered by zone, password, and unlocked zones. A downed player is revived by standing next to them. The host picks endless or a return to the lobby. Party DPS is a label in the same UI. A version mismatch prints that the lobby plays a different version of the game.
The cap on the party label is 5. That string is in the official bundle, and the videos title themselves around five players. I am treating “up to 5” as confirmed by those two kinds of source.
When it started, without picking a winner
azerothsurvivors.app says five-player co-op arrived in 0.113.0. azerothsurvivorsgame.com says 0.114.0. Both claim they are reading the author update stream. These are different claims: the app tracker labels 0.113.0 as co-op and 0.114.0 as a server change; game.com labels 0.114.0 as the arrival of co-op. We preserve both attributions and do not infer an exact launch interval. Fourteen co-op achievement names are listed by those sites (Better Together through Together, To the End). I did not see the achievement panel on the menu screenshots, so the names stay attributed to those two sites.
The official Windows archive HEAD returned Last-Modified 19 October 2026. The community co-op guide records that archive as a single-player build. This is an attributed report about that dated file, not a guarantee about future Windows releases.
Questions
Is Azeroth Survivors multiplayer?
The browser client has co-op for a party of up to 5. The community co-op guide describes the Windows file dated 19 October 2026 as single-player; future replacements may differ.
Can I play co-op on Steam?
There is no Steam build. Co-op is in the browser client at wow.aethus.pl.
Sources and verification limits
Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number. Missing values remain unreported; disagreements stay attributed.
- Aethus — original game page
Official browser entry and Windows link. Version and menu numbers are a single-publisher snapshot dated 28 October 2026, not independently confirmed current values.
- 17173 — independent game report, 26 October 2026
Free game, nine classes, eight races, Windows download and permanent progression. Rounded download size is not a file identity check.
- Community co-op guide
Reports co-op in 0.114.0; other trackers report 0.113.0. The disagreement is retained.
- Community patch tracker
Attributed tracker claims, including 355 talents and 498 items. These totals remain single-source claims, not a complete count by this guide.
- GottaBlast — They added Co-op?
Independent public footage for the gameplay shown, not verification of every numerical claim on this page.
