The Windows package is not an installer. It is a rar you unpack and run. This page is only that job: install, replace it when the author posts a newer archive, and delete it when you want it gone. The community co-op guide describes the archive dated 19 October as single-player; use the original browser client for current co-op.
I did not execute the rar on this machine. The steps below follow the file type from the HEAD request, the save-path strings in the official client, and two public install videos from 19 and 25 October 2026.
Install the Windows build of Azeroth Survivors
- Get the rar. Download AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar from wow.aethus.pl.
- Unpack. Extract the archive to a folder you control. Do not run it from inside the archive.
- Start and back up. Launch the game, then export a .sav before you replace the folder later.
Install
Download AzerothSurvivorsWindowsNew.rar from the author site only. Unpack it with a tool that opens rar archives. The author does not ship a setup.exe in the link name, and no uninstaller was described in the official strings we read. Start the game from the unpacked folder.
Windows can show a security warning for an unfamiliar executable. This guide has not verified its signature or performed a malware scan. A matching author URL and 754,921,096-byte archive size do not override a security warning.
Update and uninstall
To update, download the rar again from the same URL and replace the folder. Keep a copy of your save first. Export from Options, Saves, Export Save. The export name looks like “AzerothSurvivors YYYY-MM-DD HH-MM-SS.sav”. Import replaces the whole progress file. A damaged or edited save is rejected with “That save file is damaged or was edited, and cannot be read.”
Browser progress and Windows progress are separate. Switching without an export does not automatically transfer the other copy. To uninstall, delete the unpacked folder and, if you want the saves gone too, delete the Saves folder next to it. There is no Add/Remove Programs entry to click because there is no installer.
Questions
Why is there no uninstall wizard?
The published file is a rar, not an installer. Removing the folder is the uninstall.
Does this build have co-op?
The community co-op guide reports that the archive dated 19 October 2026 is single-player. Current co-op instructions refer to the original browser client; later Windows replacements may change.
Sources and verification limits
Checked 2026-10-28. Two independent publishers are needed to call a claim confirmed. A menu, screenshot and script from Aethus count as one publisher. Exact menu HP, racial values and dated build identifiers are single-source observations. A video or a general game report does not independently verify every number. Missing values remain unreported; disagreements stay attributed.
- Aethus — original game page
Official browser entry and Windows link. Version and menu numbers are a single-publisher snapshot dated 28 October 2026, not independently confirmed current values.
- 17173 — independent game report, 26 October 2026
Free game, nine classes, eight races, Windows download and permanent progression. Rounded download size is not a file identity check.
- OutThisLife — community rebuild README
Separate from-source build with its own maps and controls; not an official release or proof of current official balancing.
- Zackotic — How To Install Azeroth Survivors on PC
Independent public footage for the gameplay shown, not verification of every numerical claim on this page.
